Welcome to the Cactus Cafe Mexican Cantina!

The Cactus Cafe encompasses the style of an authentic Mexican Cantina.

Open since July 1990, the Cactus Cafe has become one of Loughborough's most popular restaurants - appealing to both students and local people alike.

It is a contemporary restaurant which encompasses all the style of an authentic Mexican Cantina.

Atmosphere

Customers are attracted to the Cactus Cafe by its lively, informal atmosphere, quality food and drink at reasonable prices.

The big concertina doors are thrown open in the Summer months to provide a light and airy, Mediterranean feel with walls exhibiting vibrant paintings from local artists.

Live Music

Every Wednesday is live music night which features modern and contemporary jazz from local musicians. Come along and join in the fun!

The Cactus is also a great party venue!

Whether it's for a birthday, leaving do or Xmas party, we can cater for groups of up to 24 people (Monday to Friday) and 16 on Saturday, with fixed price menus starting at £8 for 2 courses.

We have an extensive cocktail list priced at £4.50 to compliment your food, including classic Margaritas, Cosmopolitans and apple Mojitas.
